McMullin Sawmill utilizes several on-site sawmills in the manufacturing process. Old growth redwood logs and chunks tend to be huge, and the 24' capacity electric Mobile Dimension circle sawmill is used to break these monsters down into cants and timbers small enough to be processed on the 32' capacity electric Woodmizer bandsawmill. This mill is typically used for resawing and grade sawing. The large figured slabs are manufactured on the electric pole mill. There is a 5000 BF capacity Nyle dry kiln on site for drying siding, trim, VG door stock, etc. Custom planing, siding, paneling, and moulding patterns are run at outside facilities.
